Home Credit Market Inquiry
Working Papers published alongside Emerging Thinking
document
In publishing our working papers, we have removed from
them some material which home credit lenders have told us
is commercially sensitive. We have done so without prejudice
to possible disclosure in the course of the inquiry, for example
when we issue our provisional findings. Before we disclose
any such material we shall have regard to the statutory considerations
on disclosure of information in section 244 of the Act, which
are summarised in our guidance (CC7). In particular, we shall
decide which parts, if any, of currently excised material
should be published because they are essential to an understanding
of our findings.
