Domestic bulk liquefied petroleum gas

Professor Paul Geroski, the Chairman of the Commission, has asked Mr Peter Freeman, deputy Chairman of the Commission, to chair the group that will be conducting the Liquefied Petroleum Gas market inquiry.

Peter Freeman was, until 1 September 2003, a partner in Simmons & Simmons. Simmons & Simmons advises Shell, one of the main parties to this inquiry. This includes advice on competition issues and when at Simmons & Simmons, Mr Freeman was responsible for the provision of this advice by his group of lawyers, although he has not personally given advice to Shell for at least two years.
