Quantitative
Survey conducted for the CC

The CC commissioned ORC International, an independent market research
company (which previously conducted a small scale qualitative survey,
the results of which are also available on this website), to undertake
a Quantitative Survey. ORC International conducted telephone interviews
with 1,012 current and recent customers purchasing bulk LPG for domestic
use.
The survey is being made available for general interest. That
the CC is doing so should not be interpreted as implying that the CC
is necessarily in agreement with any particular point in the survey.
Sections, and specific details about suppliers, have been excised
from the published version of the Quantitative Survey because these
contain potentially sensitive data on specific, named suppliers of
bulk LPG for domestic use.
