Jeremy Peat is a member of the BBC Trust. The BBC has a limited interest in this sector to the extent that it may from time to time, essentially via BBC Worldwide, be a customer of firms in the sector. However, this relationship is limited and BBC Worldwide is managed at arms length from the BBC Trust, at least so far as day-to-day rather than strategic matters are concerned.

Jeremy Peat does not believe that the matter disclosed above in relation to him will affect his ability to act impartially and independently as member of the Group. The CC is satisfied that Jeremy Peat’s interest will not affect his ability to act independently or impartially in discharging the CC’s functions in this inquiry.
