Immediately following publication of Provisional Findings, East Sussex County Council (ESCC) pointed out a factual error in the main body of the report. This inaccurate statement had been removed from the appendices following consultation with ESCC before publication, but it remained in the main body of the report due to administrative error, for which we apologize. At paragraph 4.5, third sentence, the statement that ESCC maintains a list of approved operators is incorrect. ESCC has informed us that there is no pre-approved list of bus operators who can bid for tendered contracts. This inaccuracy will be corrected in our final report.
