Summary
Letter to local authorities outlining what the Department is doing to help planning authorities to respond to the downturn and, in particular, to ensure that planning is in a position to deliver when the upturn in the economy happens. This letter sets out a range of measures building on the housing stimulus package announced in the Budget. We need to ensure that planning compliments that package to continually respond to economic and market circumstances.
