Summary

A piece of research carried out on behalf of ODPM (now Communities and Local Government) by Henry Peterson of the LGA which provided evidence of savings, improved outcomes and good practice that could be attributed to Local Area Agreements (LAAs) at the end of the pilot LAAs first year of operation. The research report also highlighted some areas for improvement.
