Summary

The Summer 2007 Flood Restoration Fund was a scheme established by Communities and Local Government under Section 31 of the Local Government Act 2003 to support the work of local authorities, including fire and police authorities, in helping recovery from the widespread and exceptional flooding of summer 2007. 

This document has been prepared to enable local authorities and other interested parties to understand the approach taken to calculating the Restoration Fund grant allocations.
