Housing and anti-social behaviour

Anti-social behaviour covers a wide range of problems including behaviour that is capable of causing nuisance or annoyance to an individual/s or the wider community.

General guidance for residents and people who are affected by anti-social behaviour is available in the booklet - Housing and anti-social behaviour: A guide for residents (provided below) and on the DirectGov (external link) website.

Tenants of local authority landlords and housing associations may also be interested in the Respect Standard for Housing Management. Landlords who sign up to the Standard are making a public commitment to deliver good services to help stop anti-social behaviour and create a culture of respect.

The leaflet - Respect Standard for Housing Management - A Guide for the Public can be downloaded or residents may visit the Respect (external link) website for further information about supporting communities and tackling anti-social behaviour.
