Mission

The Congo Basin Forest Fund was launched in June 2008 with a grant of £100 million from the governments of the UK and Norway to develop the capacity of the people and institutions of the Congo Basin to preserve and manage their forests.

CBFF at the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)

CBFF will take part at the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) from November 30th to December 09th, 2011, in Durban. Specifically, in the Africa pavilion, CBFF will take an active part in three specific events (i) REDD + roundtable; (ii) the Forest Day 5 (iii) the CBFF Round table on REDD pilot projects in the DRC and in the COMIFAC area.
