In all probability, your organisation already has an organisational strategy in place. This may have been decided at central government level, or your organisation may be free to determine their own strategy and objectives within guidelines. The strategy may contain a combination of short- and long-term objectives, which should feed into Human Resources objectives. Total Reward objectives should, in turn, flow from relevant HR and organisational objectives.
Your organisation probably publishes its strategy either on its external website, on the intranet (internal website, only available to employees), or in your Annual Report. Your organisation may also publish a Statement of Intent or similar document, outlining the longer-term objectives for the organisation or sector.
