This website brings together in one place all the information, products and guidance the Cabinet Office Pay and Workforce Reform team have produced for those involved in reform of public services workforce. The site also provides links to further sources of practical assistance and information on public service pay and workforce reform.

Total Rewards toolkit

Total Rewards

The Total Rewards toolkit provides public service employers and HR professionals with the information and tools they need to use total rewards in support of improved service delivery within their organisations. The toolkit was launched at a total rewards seminar held at the Cabinet Office on 7 December 2006.

Drive for Change

Drive for ChangeDrive for Change is a joint Cabinet Office and TUC project which comprises an approach and web-based toolkit for employee engagement in service improvements. It is designed for public service employers, trade unions and employees to use together to support closer dialogue and joint working to take forward change to, or redesign of, services.

Leadership for reform and customer focus

The Public Services Leadership Consortium, established in 2005, identified customer focus as one of its opening priorities, and sponsored research into the qualities required for customer focused leadership, and the learning required to develop these qualities. The project has culminated in the development of a learning framework incorporating a suite of customer focused leadership learning resources.
