Charity Commission

The Charity Commission regulates charities in England and Wales. It is a non-ministerial government department. This means that it is not part of the Cabinet Office and is not subject to the direction or control of ministers.

However Cabinet Office ministers have certain roles relating to the Charity Commission, including:
