About the National Resilience Extranet

The National Resilience Extranet (NRE) is an affordable SOFTWARE PACKAGE with 3 levels of buy-in.

NRE Software will provide a browser-based tool to enable efficient and secure (accredited to RESTRICTED level) exchange of information during both routine planning and response to emergencies. The tool will provide ready access to centrally stored information including templates and good practice guidance, and enable timely communication of documents such as Commonly Recognised Information Pictures (CRIPs) and Situational Reports (SitReps). The tool is to support strategic collaboration between partners locally, regionally and with central government, including the Devolved Administrations. The NRE will also support applications for incident management.

Overall aims of NRE

The NRE can be accessed via any standard Internet connection but will require adherence to connection guidance.

3 Levels of buy-in

  1. A day-to-day information sharing collaborative working package (this is the core offering) Cost £85 per annum per user *. Role based accounts will also be available
  2. An additional Emergency Information Management Package (ATLAS AIMS) Costs are likely to be £402.50 per annum per user for 1-20 users, £365.00 per annum per user for 20+ users.
  3. A Geographic Information System (GIS) Package (ATLAS OPS) Costs are likely to be £500.00 per annum per user for OPS Lite and £1500.00 per annum per user for the full package.

Costs*

A core collaborative working and information sharing package (branded as “Collaborate”) will be available for a first year annual subscription rate of £85 per user. Yearly increases to the subscription will be in line with inflation.
