National Resilience Extranet - National Briefings

The National Resilience Extranet is planned to go live in Autumn 2009. To inform and familiarise the resilience community with the functionality, features and collaborative working benefits of the NRE a programme of briefings is being held throughout the UK during July 2009. Hosted by BT and Ultra Electronics Datel the briefings will provide the opportunity for delegates to meet members of the NRE project team and take part in an in-depth Q&A session. There will also be demonstrations of Atlas Collaborate, the core NRE emergency planning tool, together with details of the optional Atlas AIMS and Atlas OPS packages.

Briefings are being held throughout July in locations across the UK. As a member of the resilience community you are invited to attend these briefings at the location of your choice. The sessions are expected to be two hours in duration and provide the choice of attending a morning or afternoon session.

The programme will include:

• Welcome and Introduction, by Cabinet Office, Civil Contingencies Secretariat
• NRE functionality and working demonstration of Atlas Collaborate – the core NRE emergency planning tool, by Ultra Electronics Datel
• Overview and demonstration of optional integrated planning tools – Atlas OPS and Atlas AIMS, by Ultra Electronics Datel
• Q&A and discussion forum with Cabinet Office and Ultra Electronics Datel
