An independent review into the UK’s strategic response to the 2009 swine flu pandemic has been published.
The review’s author, Dame Deirdre Hine, outlined 28 recommendations that aim to enhance the proportionality of a future response, strengthen the development and handling of scientific advice, and improve how government communicates with the public.
Below is the cost breakdown for the Review itself.
Along with the report, the Review Team is publishing the call for evidence sent out to government departments and agencies on 12 March and the submissions the Review received in response, linked below. The Team is also publishing submissions from interested parties received via the Review’s external email address.
