Access to Volunteering 

Access to Volunteering is a £2 million pilot programme and was launched in September 2009. The programme provides funding to organisations to support the additional costs associated with involving disabled people in volunteering.  The programme was created in response to the Commission on the Future of Volunteering, “Manifesto for Change”, report in 2008.

The pilot will run in three areas – London, the West Midlands and the North West and is delivered by a consortium of Digital Public, Charities Aid Foundation and the RNIB.
