Consortium led by SROI UK appointed to run Measuring Social Value project

The Office of the Third Sector (OTS) is running a new project on Social Return on Investment (SROI) to be taken forward over 2008-2011. The Measuring Social Value project will be run by a consortium led by SROI UK [external website]. Other members are:

Social Return on Investment is an impact measurement tool used to place a financial worth on the social value that an organisation creates through its activities, outputs and outcomes

The project also aims to encourage wider use of SROI, through making it more accessible and more cost effective for organisations and more attractive to investors, funders and commissioners.
