Capacitybuilders, a non-departmental public body funded by the Office of the Third Sector, has announced 2.5million of grant awards for the modernisation of third sector support services.

Capacitybuilders and its programmes are funded by the Office of the Third Sector. Capacitybuilders invests this funding in a variety of programmes that make support services available to the third sector The awards announced today go to a range of projects across England and aims to achieve a step change in the quality and relevance of support available to frontline organisations. The projects have been put forward by local and regional Consortia from business plans developed during last year, reflecting opportunities to make significant improvements to the support available in local areas.

These awards represent the next phase of a three year investment by Capacitybuilders in modernisation and improvement. Each project supports the programme outcome of achieving demonstrable gains in efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability.
