The programme also aims to increase the capacity and sustainability of smaller third sector organisations which specialise in providing the support services.

Phil Hope, the Minister for the Third Sector, said:

“The Improving Reach Programme will play an important role in strengthening sector support services available to frontline organisations dedicated to working in and with disadvantaged and marginalised communities.”

Details of how to apply for funding, as well as the chance to register for a series of briefing events being held across England, are available from the Capacitybuilders website.
