The Social Enterprise Coalition has announced a short list of 15 organisations for the Enterprising Solutions Awards 2007, the annual awards for social enterprise supported by the Office of the Third Sector.
The Enterprising Solutions Awards aim to showcase and assist dynamic and pioneering social enterprises – businesses with mainly social or environmental goals.
This year's short list covers a wide range of initiatives from around the UK, and includes a fair-trade chocolate company, care providers, a community recycling scheme and regeneration schemes.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 17 October 2007.
