The Prime Minister has approved the appointment of Campbell Robb to be Director General, Office of the Third Sector in the Cabinet Office.
Campbell Robb will be responsible for driving the Government's strategic approach to enhance and enable a thriving third sector. Working to ministers in the Cabinet Office, Campbell's role will include:
Campbell – currently Director of Public Policy at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) – will work to Hilary Armstrong, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and Ed Miliband, Minister for the Third Sector, in the Cabinet Office.
Ed Miliband, Minister for the Third Sector, said:
“I am delighted we have been able to secure the appointment of Campbell Robb. His extensive sector experience means he will be a strong leader for the Office, and I look forward to working closely with him on driving forward our work to enhance and enable a thriving third sector.”
