All government departments have to have simplification plans that set out how they can make life simpler for businesses and third sector organisations and which are revised every year.
Third sector organisations should benefit from many of these plans. In particular, the Charity Commission's simplification plan identifies further deregulatory measures that could significantly benefit charities.
Further details about departmental simplification plans, and the administrative burdens reduction exercise can be found on the Better Regulation Executive website. You can also use the Better Regulation Executive’s website to put forward your own ideas about cutting red tape for Third Sector orgnisations.
