Regulating angels: the role of the Charity Commission Dame Suzi Leather, Chair of the Charity Commission, discussed the role of charities and the Charity Commission and set out some of the challenges and opportunities facing both in future. Suzi Leather has been Chair of the Charity Commission since August 2006. Prior to that she was Chair of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority and the School Food Trust. She is currently also a Board Member of the UK Accreditation Service and a Council Member of Exeter University. In the 2006 New Year's Honours list she was made a Dame of the British Empire.
