We are responsible for accelerating the pace of public service reform by encouraging those involved to identify and implement practical innovations which will underpin the next generation of public services.
Key work includes establishing the new Innovators Council to identify and champion better ways of delivering services.

In 2007, the Cabinet Office set up the Customer Insight Forum, a network of heads of insight from across the public sector, which is working together to establish a culture in government which values insight and knows how to act on it.
In April 2009, responsibility for the Customer Insight Forum moved to the Government Communications Group [External website].Over the last two years, the Cabinet Office, together with the Customer Insight Forum, has produced a number of useful guides and toolkits, which you can download.
