About Public Services Reform

The Prime Minister established the Office of Public Services Reform in 2001 to strengthen the Government's ability to improve public services. Based in the Cabinet Office, OPSR was responsible for pushing forward the reform of public services in accordance with the Prime Minister's four principles of reform, in order to improve customers' experiences of those services.
