Hilary Armstrong, Cabinet Minister for Social Exclusion, joined pupils from Kingsmead Primary School, Hackney at their breakfast club this morning. The School runs a highly successful breakfast club with food provided by Magic Breakfast, a charity that believes all primary school children need the right fuel for learning.

Hilary said:

“I am really pleased to see the good work Magic Breakfast is doing here with Kingsmead Primary School. It is an important partnership between a school and a social enterprise which is making a real difference to children’s health and readiness for learning.

“I congratulate both Magic Breakfast and Kingsmead primary school for this innovative programme and the benefits it is bringing this community.”
