cert_examsmall jpeg.jpgThe ITPC Scheme welcomes experienced Infosec professionals in UK Government departments, accredited contractor companies and police forces to take up the key role of assessing Certificate Submissions on behalf of the Secretariat. Guidance is given on the assessment procedure, and the Secretariat can be called upon any time an assessment poses difficulties.

The Scheme would particularly like to hear from those with experience of accreditation and Comsec duties. If you would like to learn more about this key role, please get in touch with the ITPC Secretariat to express your interest and discuss this further.

This responsible role brings with it opportunities to learn more about Infosec, and to influence the development and direction of the Scheme.ITPC Scheme Examiners are awarded the Certificate of Infosec Competency on appointment.

If you think you fit the bill, you should submit a portfolio to the Scheme Secretariat. This document should contain a CV asserting over 5 years' experience of UK Government Infosec work, a detailed description of your current Infosec role and an argued account of a recent piece of work you have done. You will also to provide two referees who can vouch for your application.
