The ITPC candidate application form

The ITPC candidate application form is the last document you need to complete as a candidate. You need to complete it whatever training path or certificate you are applying for. The checklist at the bottom of the form lists the documents you need to submit.

For Standard path you need to enclose with your application form:

• your target competencies
• your supporter's letter

For Waiver path you need to enclose with your application form:

• Either a brief description of how you meet the core competencies (for candidates intending to submit a dissertation later) or a completed competencies form annex
• a full Infosec career record or CV supporting your assertions that you have been in government policy for three or more years and an outline of your current role
• supporting statements from two referees

It is important to keep all your paperwork as anonymous as possible. Please refer to yourself only once by name at the start of each document, for the remainder of the document use ‘the Candidate’. Any paperwork not following these guidelines will be returned for correction.
