Description: For your information a link is provided below to the National Register of Social Housing (NROSH) schemas developed by the Housing Data Workshop at the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG).
NROSH is a system that is being developed to collect social housing data at individual property level directly from Local Authorities (LAs) and Housing Associations (HAs). It will provide a range of data on each individual unit of housing owned or managed by LAs (or ALMOs on behalf of LAs) and HAs or other providers of subsidised affordable housing. It will also provide a range of data on each individual unit of housing owned or managed by LAs (or ALMOs on behalf of LAs) and HAs or other providers of subsidised affordable housing. Its purpose is to provide a better evidence base for housing policy by providing statistics which are standardised across the whole sector, are frequently updated and can be easily produced for any geographical area.
