Description: A simplified schema to define data submitted by Local Auhtorities for use by Local Directgov. The schema removes the complexity of the prior web portal schema which is designed around the broader needs of portals in general. The schema accommodates web portal addresses (URLs) for each service interaction supported by the Local Directgov site for every local authority. Local Directgov also needs to know each local authority''s website homepage and "contact us" page addresses and basic contact details for the person responsible for the data, known as the "Web Portal Officer". The schema results from consultation between Local Directgov, local authorities, their suppliers and esd-toolkit.
