Description: The schemas support the new EToN 5 technical specification and will supersede the EToN 4 schemas on October 1st 2008. The attached collection of files includes the EToN 4 schemas in addition to the EToN 5 schemas as EToN 4 messages may still be exchanged after October 1st because of transitional arrangements. The main change in EToN 5 is the introduction of transactions to support Permit Schemes. Other changes include support for Unattributable Works, Section 50 Licences and Notice Attachments. A full change history is included in the Schema Issues Log document.
