Course Title: Developing & Embedding Your Business Continuity Management Programme[NI]

Who Should Attend: This course is aimed at those who are familiar with the Business Continuity Management (BCM) lifecycle. It takes participants (who are mainly Category 1 and 2 Responders) through a range of exercises that will help them understand their critical activities and to get ‘buy-in’ for their BCM programme.

Aim: To critically appraise existing BCM arrangements and identify current good practice.

Objectives: By the end of this event you will be able to:

• identify areas for development by peer reviewing your BC plan against against BS 25999.
• identify areas for development in your BC plans by comparing and contrasting against sample plans.
• describe a process for delivering critical business processes across a complex organisation.
• evaluate different approaches to preparing for and gaining ‘buy-in’ to your BCM programme.
• describe the elements of a training and exercise programme.
