Who Should Attend
Those who plan for and manage safety at outdoor festivals and gatherings, or who represent organisations with a significant stakeholder input to the safety planning and management process.
Aim
To examine good practice in the management of public safety at festivals and mass gatherings.

By the end of this event you will be able to:
Pre-Requisites
You should normally have attended the Introduction to Crowd and Event Safety Management course before attending this course but this requirement may be waived if you consider yourself to have relevant professional experience to progress directly to this course. In such a case you will benefit from the completion of an online pre-attendance module covering background material prior to arrival for your course.
Progression
Those who represent their organisation on a Safety Advisory Group will benefit from Working in Safety Advisory Groups. Senior Safety Management representatives may consider the Spectator Safety Management Programme. Some may wish to attend the Temporary Demountable Structures Course following the ‘taster’ session on this course. The Crowd Dynamics Workshop is applicable to all with responsibilities for the planning and management of crowd situations and events.
