Course Title : Developing Site-Specific CBRN Contingency Plans
Who Should Attend
- Staff involved in preparing multi-agency contingency plans intended to support a response to a CBRN event.
- Managers of urban areas, facilities or organisations that may be considered a CBRN risk and others who wish to develop CBRN contingency planning capabilities.
- Those with a national, regional or devolved government responsibility for CBRN planning, policy or capability development.
- Managers and staff of private sector businesses or organisations who may be advised to consider the development of CBRN contingency plans.
Aim
To examine the UK approach to site and location specific contingency planning for CBRN incidents.
Objectives
By the end of the course delegates will be able to:
- Describe the elements of the UK CBRN capability as expressed in the Model Response
- Explain the roles and responsibilities of all primary agencies involved in CBRN response
- Identify the elements of the UK site specific plan template
- Explain the value of site specific planning in the phases of an emergency.
