For emergency responder organisations under the Civil Contingencies Act, particularly emergency planning officers, communication officers and those who may be required to design messages and select the relevant media for communicating with the public prior to, during and after an emergency.

 

Aim

To enable participants to develop approaches to warn and inform the public, prior to, during and following an emergency.

Pre-Requisites

We would normally expect you to have completed the Intoduction to Civil Protection course or at least be familiar with the requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act (2004).
