Doctor of Business and Management (DBM) 

Introduction

lubs classroom2.jpgThe Doctor of Business and Management (DBM) is a part-time Professional Doctorate designed for managers. It has an innovative dual focus on strategic research and advancing professional practice. The benefits of the DBM to the manager and their organisation, are two-fold:

The main pathway for the DBM consists taught assessed modules in the first 2 years starting with an Induction in year 1. The transfer to full Doctoral registration will follow the taught modules and will commence in year 3. Students conduct their research and write up the Doctoral Thesis in years 3 to 5 when the Thesis will be submitted and students will undertake a Viva-voce examination.

Programme fees are available upon application.

Acceptance onto accredited programmes will be confirmed in writing from the Work-Based Learning Unit.

Applications

Applications from organisations who wish to transfer or substitute students on accredited programmes will be considered subject to University regulations and approval from the Work-Based Learning Unit.

Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions for accredited programmes are in line with University of Leeds/Leeds University Business School rules and regulations. Full terms and conditions will be available to all students prior registration.
