Customer Board – Governance Issues
Purpose
To provide EPC and its key customer representatives with a formal means for the consideration of customer requirements, expectations and College performance. To that end the Board will:
- Review and endorse policies and plans for services, products and their delivery.
- Review the College's performance in the preceding period.
- Endorse the programme for the next period and the longer–term development plan.
Meetings and Membership
- The Board will meet twice yearly in April and November, under the chairmanship of the Head of Civil Contingencies Secretariat.
- The Chief Executive and Director of Business Services of the EPC will attend.
- The membership of the Board will comprise representatives of:

- Ambulance Service Association
- Business Continuity Institute
- British Red Cross
- Chief Fire Officers' Association
- Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
- Department of Health
- Department of Trade and Industry
- Emergency Planning Society

- National Assembly for Wales Government
- Northern Ireland Executive
- Office of the Deputy Prime Minister
