The Cabinet Office, in line with the Government’s desire to use the Comprehensive Spending Review 2007 (CSR07) to continue the improvement of public services and the Departmental settlement, is looking to make significant value for money savings.
Along with the rest of the Public Sector, the Cabinet Office needs to develop its services and processes in the light of the changing challenges it faces. There is an imperative to provide the right services and functions needed for the modern world in the most cost-efficient manner possible. The Department’s Value for Money (VfM) plan forms a major part of this effort.
