Sanctuary Device Control extends the standard Windows security model to control I/O devices. Based on the White List concept, device access for users is not allowed by default. Sanctuary Device Control controls access to devices by applying an Access Control List (ACL) to each device type. To grant access, the Administrator only needs to associate those users or user groups with the devices and/or device classes to which they should have access.
