As well as interactive presentations, the two-day conference included five breakout sessions
PSN Programme Director John Stubley said: “There is an enormous appetite for the Public Sector Network. We’ve done a lot of work – but there’s a lot more do before we realise our vision of a single ‘network of networks.’
“What’s clear is that everyone we talked to has individual needs – not that we weren’t aware of that! But once PSN is in place next year, it will be the ‘great enabler’ – setting standards, dramatically improving procurement, and saving the taxpayer considerable sums of money.”
He added: “But most importantly of all, it will allow users to do more. And they’ll be able to do that more easily, with services that slot together seamlessly.”
