The Directors of Better Regulation, chaired by the incoming Council Presidency, is an informal group of senior representatives from Member State public administrations which debates issues around the Better Regulation agenda and carries out short-term projects to increase learning and to share best practice among officials across Europe. Recent projects include benchmarking exercises in impact assessment in the various Member States and the development of training for officials in the use of impact assessments.
