CSIA Claims Tested (CCT) Mark

What is the CSIA Claims Tested Mark?

The CSIA Claims Tested (CCT) Mark scheme provides a government quality mark for the public and private sectors based on accredited independent testing, designed to prove the validity of security functionality claims made by vendors. In more colloquial terms, the CCT Mark is designed to assure public bodies that a product or service does ‘what it says on the box’.

What's new

• Two years on and the CCT Mark reaches another key milestone. Harvey Mattinson, Head of Assurance and Standards presented the 30th CCT Mark Award at the CIPCOG event in Newcastle on 27th September.
• Recipients include: FTI and Ultratec Ltd whose awards have previously been announced, Becrypt – Trusted Client Platform v1.2, SDMS Ltd – Secure Data Media Solutions Service v.1, and CGI Group (Europe) Ltd – Excelsior Security Manager v.1. (27/09/07)
• Barron McCann Technology Ltd has been awarded the CCT Mark for their Managed Service for Secure Destruction of Data on Magnetic Media v.1 (27/09/07)
• Ultratec Limited have been awarded the CCT Mark for Secure Destruction of Data on Magnetic Media Service version 1.0 (Awarded 14/09/07). 14/09/07
