The BPA’s 2011 Annual Conference hosted by Orkney Island Council Harbours on 21 and 22 September was a great success. Presentation papers are available on the members section of the website.
At the BPA’s 2011 AGM the Association’s Chairman Jim Stewart launched its Annual Review, ‘Creating the Conditions for Success’.

A recent report commissioned by Maritime UK shows that the UK ports industry in 2009 contributed £16.9bn to GDP and supported 337,000 jobs. Details can be found here.
We have recently responded to consultations on Scotland’s National Marine Plan, Modernising the MCA, Welsh Marine Planning, the FOI Act, Inland Waterways and PD Rights in Scotland.
