WEEE consultations
A consultation has been published on new Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations and further developments of the supporting infrastructure to take effect from the fourth compliance period (1 January - 31 December 2010 onwards). This includes the summary Impact Assessment and draft regulations (Appendix 1 and 2). The closing date for responses is 6th April 2009.

A public consultation was launched on 25 July 2006. The final consultation closed on 17 October 2006 and a 187 responses were received.

The consultation follows a review of the implementation of the WEEE Directive and an informal consultation process.
