Eco-Design of Energy-using products (EuP) Directive – regulations and studies

Regulations and studies

In the transition period between the Directive’s entry into force and the first working plan being published, implementing measures were to be introduced for the product groups mentioned in Article 16(2) of the Directive. These have focused on energy efficiency gains. In October 2008 the European Commission published the 2009-2011 Commission Working Plan, indicating the next set of priority product groups.

Product areas and the study website links are given in the table below, along with a guideline status. Once published in final form, a link to the implementing measure is given.
