Biography

Jitinder Kohli has been Director General, Strategy and Communications, since June 2009. Previously he was Chief Executive of the Better Regulation Executive.

He has worked in Government since 1996 with roles in the Treasury, Cabinet Office and Home Office. He was previously Head of the Productivity and Structural Reform Team at the Treasury, where he oversaw the Hampton Review as well as the Barker Review of Housing Supply and the Graham Review of Small Firm Finance.

Jitinder also set up the Community Cohesion Unit at the Home Office and before that worked in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit.

Jitinder is a Board Member of Circle Anglia Housing Group and the Adventure Capital Fund, and chair of EPIC Trust.
