Open stakeholder meetings

The purpose of this stakeholder meeting, which was open to all, was to take stakeholders through the main proposals in the Communication and the associated staff working paper. The output from this meeting influenced the DTI's [BERR's] development of the UK position and response paper.

The purpose of this introductory meeting was to discuss with stakeholders how we would prepare the UK view and to share our initial thoughts on the scope of and priorities for the EU Review.
