New OGEL issued for Vintage Military Vehicles

NOTICES TO EXPORTERS - 2009/12 - 3 June 2009

  1. The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform has issued a new Open General Export Licence (or OGEL) covering the export of Vintage Military Vehicles.

  2. This OGEL allows, subject to certain conditions, vintage military vehicles (falling within entry ML6) manufactured 50 years or more before the export date, to be exported to EU countries for not more than three months.

  3. The new licence is available at: OGEL (Vintage Military Vehicles)

  4. As with other OGELs, exporters will need to register for the licence on SPIRE and adhere to all the terms and conditions.
