1. The Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform has made amendments to a number of Open General Licences.
Details as follows:
- Following licences have been amended to exclude PL5001.i (Hand held spiked batons).
- Following licence amended to remove definition of “Exhibition” and exclusion of PL5001.i.
- Following licence amended to extend validity to 2 years after the expiry of previous licence; re-numbering of entries under ML21 and exclusion of PL5001.i.
- Following licence goods schedule amended following change to the controls.
- Following licence amended to exclude PL5001.i and deletion of Bulgaria and Romania from Schedule 3 which only applies to controls to non-EU Member States.
- Following licence substantially re-formatted to allow for export of ML7.g. goods for limited WMD use, plus re-numbering of ML21 (Software) and addition of Romania.
- Following licence amended to remove Latvia
- Following licence amended in line with changes in scope and numbering of Dual-use controls.
The above amendments will enter into force on 20th June 2008.
